I grew up in Southwest Connecticut in a small town outside of Waterbury called Cheshire. Yes, it’s named after a town in England as are many in New England. My paternal grandmother was nearly born on the Lusitania cruise ship, but for the early arrival of my father which kept her from boarding the ill-fated vessel.
My husband and I have been married for over 30 years and have two children and 2 grandchildren with one more on the way.. Our family though small spans across 2 continents, the US and South Asia.

Our beloved family member is a cheeky Lhasa Apso name Nola Magnolia. She loves people, even when they’re a little dog skittish.

I started my career in I.T. in 1997 and with my background in varying roles spanning more than a decade in the field I bring a unique perspective to the content I write. I started content writing in 2019 as a side gig. It quickly blossomed into a full-time business.
Why did I decide to become a freelance writer? Yes, there are lots of other things I could do, but I enjoy writing articles and blogs.
